It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to sell our ‘Obsession' as we are not getting out on the lake as much as we would like.
Obsession is a fast, relatively light weight racing boat designed by C and C and built by Ontario Yachts. Obsession has resided at the Great Slave Sailing club for over 20 years and, to the best of our knowledge, has had 4 owners over this period of time. According to veteran sailing club members she has won numerous races over the years.
When not under sail, Obsession is powered by a Vire 7.5 HP inboard 2 stroke motor. Also included in the sale are a Trailer, anchor chain and buoy located at Joliffe Island (across from Air Tindi), Seamax Dinghy (has a leak but can be repaired), Yamaha 2.5 HP outboard motor, all instruments including, Raymarine Depth Sounder and speed indicator, Raymarine auto tiller, Raymarine 160 wind instrument, Standard Horizon Chart platter/GPS cw Great Slave Lake, 2 Main Sails, 3 Jibs, 1 Gennaker and 1 Spinnaker.
